What a great day out, Ross n Lee convoyed to junc 2 of the M6 where we found Ian, then Millsy, Rich and Evv99, and onto meet up with Andy, Sime, Kev, Matt. Went upto Brum and got off the Motorway where the hotel was and parked in a hotel car park, WRONG ONE!!!!!!! (Ross' fault!!!) Got back on the road and some of us ended up in a Travelodge car park, again the WRONG ONE (Lee's fault this time!!!!) then finally found the right hotel even further up the road, after a few u turns and trips up and down the same piece of road. Good meet point!!!!!!
Glad no-one needed to get in or out of that car park in a hurry, especially when everyone decided to start driving to the exit all at one, but didn’t know where to go after that.
Some initial problems in the meet car park, a Mk5reg car which meant Dave stayed behind and Ross led a large convoy of 'Scorts through the streets. I’m sure that Brum didn’t know what had hit them with all the modded metal filling the dull streets. Must say big respect to the guy in the Nissan Micra, even if the RR had taken its toll on the beast of a motor ;)
Anyway, I think it was 23 or 24 cars that ended up being done on the rollers with a wide range of results, and engines ranging from a 1.4 to a td to a 1.8 si with throttle bodies!
