anyone recently had either a clutch or cambelt changed n can tell me how much that cost? 1.8 petrol escort. Let me know if it was ford garage, rapid fit or local non franchise garage. Cheers, ross

Clutch you'll be looking at between 160-200 for a reasonable price. Cambelt im not sure on

Account for £200 for each and your about there, ford will want more but shop around cheers.gif

This is about spot on minus the parts, my clutch on my 1st 1.6 was £225 all in including the clutch, i now just do my own
