MY CARS PUT ON HOLD AGAIN
that POS rover i did all ther servicing and repair work on has now decided to blow its head gasket (nothing i did wrong, the rad was fecked) so now i have this green turd dripping emulsified water on my drive way (well a cloth i put under it)
now i have to strip the head off and replace it. went just round the corner from my house as the guy who owns it lives up the road.
would be convinient if someone could set fire too it then i could get it off my drive forever, instead have to repair it. i'm too kind to family friends

You might want to "put on hold" updates without erm... update pics.

I dont reply in my threads unless I have pics or to thanks poeple for commenting or there is genuin discussion going on which has direct relivance to my cars "progress" a few things lacking here.

Exactly what I meant, my car thread hasnt been updated by me although an awfull lot has been going on (purchases & arrangements). You cant see it yet & when I have pics to show it I will indeed revive the thread.

i was just updating so you can know why nothing was done. as i've said this is just a thread for having a laugh with now. once i've got the car done(ish) i will start a new one which will start with pictures from when i got it, then show the after
thought some people might respect the fact that i am putting on hold the want to do my car, which keeps getting put off for one reason or another, to fix a family friends car - he had to take a voluntary pay cut in order too keep his job. pay cut was 65%. he cant afford to replace the car so thats why me and my dad fix it for him and just charge him cost of parts. i will never charge friends or family labour. maybe just a drink

also, does anyone know the cheapest place to get a decent washer pump? my original one failed pre the first mot and only one i could get the night before at half 7 was from halfrauds and it now only works intermitantly.

oh, and kev, when its done you will need to go to hospital to get your jaw lifted off the floor with amazement.

i might be evil, if i get the time off, and not post anymore updates till after FITP which will act like her great un-veiling

In a car thread to show off your cars progress (i may be wrong) but no one gives a hoot about your neighbours rover problems. We revisit the thread to see one thing only which is an update on the car in question.
Even more humerous is the fact that after 29 pages we now know it will never see progress pics, odd, frustrating, wasted time waiting call it what you want?
When I did my first Escort I didnt update until it was finished, I got the shock effect of a full transformation & not "heres a piece of mesh I bought, here it is fitted, here it is changed.
