anyone recently had either a clutch or cambelt changed n can tell me how much that cost? 1.8 petrol escort. Let me know if it was ford garage, rapid fit or local non franchise garage. Cheers, ross

This is about spot on minus the parts, my clutch on my 1st 1.6 was £225 all in including the clutch, i now just do my own

£190 For a cambelt and tensioner, backstreet garage

was quoted this for my 1.6
