Barry-334
Hi Dan, great base for the project. could I suggest Ford Imperial Blue for the rocker cover - stands out and looks shiney as fook! The manifold cover is cheap & easier replace than clean up. I would also suggest some clear adhesive tape, like the stone chip foils you get on some cars, to put on the rocker cover to stop the throttle cable rubbing the paint. here's a pic of mine, to give you an idea!http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm10/Barry-334/006.jpg Look forward to watching the progress, and seeing the finished article! Lee_2f2f
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d150/danposs86/mk6/DSCF6562.jpg That picture is brilliant Very tidy & nice car dan but please dont do the "GTi Rep" everyone does it, how about similar to your MK5b?? the cabby skirts & Spats? danposs86
Well have got some spats coming. The skirts on my old 5b where rs2000 skirts, would love cabby skirts on this if i can find any cheap enough. The exterior styling is really something that will get changed if some bargain appears, the main mods will be those you can't see (handling side of things). Plus if it does become a gti rep (which is very OEM, which I love, hate aftermarket parts, minus the Evotec front, so I am rather limited to styling), it will have something extra, eventually, that will make it stand out from all the other reps

danposs86
Go Euro... Clean and crisp styling, but stands out from the crowd The thing is I don't want to spend money on the bodywork, Euro involves smoothing and spraying. Don't worry, it will be individual, come on, it's me
