A fantastic investment !!! my set up has paid for itself and earned me quite a few quid. What brand did you purchase ? i bought an AudioControl set up a good few years ago now , i killed the 150 mic and had an upgrade to 160 and no probs so far. rogerthecabbyboy
i've got: alpine 7873 head unit (bought in 2001 and still good!!) front: hertz esk 165 components ran off JBL GTO504E bridged to 2 channels rear standard speakers faded out JL audio w3v2 12 inch dual 4 ohm voice coil wired to 2ohm load ran off DLS cad 11 8 gauge wiring kit to the JBL4 gauge to the DLS it all sounds ok, a bit lacking in midrange but i'll work on that one day maybe by changing the set up. but then its a never ending circle so then will need more bass too! i do plan to run one big power lead to a distribution box at one point but for now i've got better things to spend the wedge on! and i've got another sub to put in when i get round to boxing it etc
Gonzo0
Kenwood 4x45w HeadunitStandard front speakersJVC 300w 6x9s in the rear. Perfect for me, dont like subs, theres just too much bass and u sound like an idiot when going down a busy street and your whole car is shacking with the bass. Plus subs just weigh the car down too much IMO.
