Rhyssamrai@hotmail.co.uk
finished it today, isnt perfect yet but can see the look. sprayed it and its got some white bits that if you wet go away but come back once it dries, havent laquered it is that why? http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/15236.jpg http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/15237.jpg overall think it looks quite good, would look prity good on a nice black car I think but doesnt really match my car, enjoyed making it and only cost me about £15 to do and about 5 hours spread out over a while including paint (im not to good with filler) havnet fitted it properly going to do it tommorow and clean the car then ill put some pics on show us your motor for you all to see the finished product. what you all think? karl
looks good. get a fogged bumper and splitter and some smoked lights and it'll all tie in nicely.. the whiteness is called blooming. most prob because it was too cold when you painted. and it shows more on black than any colour for obivous reasons. do it again, but keep it warm next time
Squav
Not as good as I thought it was going to be, but fair play for trying. Have a go at something else
alexc1983
Brushed aluminum effect would look good i think, or colour coded. Either way i think you have done a crackin job and its nice to see people trying new ideas, especially with a mk 6. Well done mate
badboyclub
white bits from what i can see is where the temperature of the air around it is too cold and the paints bloomed up try rubbing back down and give it a final coat of paint but go over it with a hairdryer so the paint stays warm do this for around 5 mins
Rhyssamrai@hotmail.co.uk
oh ok, will do it tommorow needed to anyway as I didnt smooth the filler down properly which i couldnt see till after I painted
