Escort_Kid
Thanks for all the comments guys/gals, very appreciated And yeah steve an alarm is another priority for me Those Fiesta 15's look mega.. you could make a really nice handling car out of this without touching the engine with wheels like that Yeah thats my ideal plan, I know it wont ever be fast with the engine its got but if I can get the handling top notch ill be very happy Little update too: Fitted my cd player the other day and got a sort of gun metal silver surround for it, think it suits the interior great, probably going to do a few other bits to match it http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/DSC01552.jpg Also got a freebie today at work, not sure if I like it yet or not, but my boss had it stored from when he had his mk5 escort and said I may aswell have it, so I've fitted it on for awhile and see how I feel about it see if it grows on me. Would like opinions on it please? http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/DSC01548.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/DSC01549.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/DSC01550.jpg

Hezz
how do the wind deflectors fit on?
Escort_Kid
how do the wind deflectors fit on? Two little metal hooks, hook onto the metal ridge around the sunroof at the front and then you screw down into a plastic threaded bit below the hook to sort of sandwich it to secure it and pull the wind deflector firmly to the roof Little bit hard to explain can get pictures if needed. Escort_Kid
Well not really an update but, gave it its first wash and polish today since being in my ownership, wouldnt normally take pics, but as it was its first I thought why not Decided id use some different products this time, so used my supaguard stuff I had. Very pleased with the results http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/DSC01571-1.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/DSC01567.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/DSC01568.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/DSC01570.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/DSC01573.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/DSC01564.jpg Amazing how much dirt was on it actually, after looking at what was left in the second water rinse bucket http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/DSC01566.jpg Cant get enough of the metallic pepper red in the sunshine, looks spot on http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/biggup1234/DSC01563.jpg Tomorrows jobs are to go round all the door/boot shuts and clean off any dirt/spray grease still left in there, also give it a full interior valet Edited August 30, 2008 by Escort_Kid
