jenty
I'm after some upgraded headlight bulbs for my escort, but I dont know which ones are best to go for. I'm after some ones that look brighter than standard. I dont know much about different bulbs, all I know that the bulbs in mine are standard H4 bulbs Thanks in advance for your help

Andy 3i
Depends what your after. I've got the Halfords 100w Ultra Blue H4's. I'd recommend them, and dont look stupid, just a small tint. Had them for over 2 years and never been pulled. I'd put standard ones in for MOT's tho

Gonzo0
Osram Nightbreakers if you want to be legal or... Osram Hyper 65/70W off road bulbs if you dont (stock wiring will be fine with these) If that still isnt bright enough for you then get some projector lights and whack some HIDs in there. Andy 3i
Or you could whack HID's into standard headlights. I saw some 160w/90w H4's today. Standard wiring will be fine with 100w/80w. They're relayed so its all good

Andy 3i
iirc pie had HID's in his white one. the beam pattern should be the same, still bending light the same way. apparently you need washers and auto beam adjusters too, but no one enforces it and some cars not even have it. the new range rover have orange side lights, which makes them fail the first MOT
