richmond
after loosing my job i advertised my gti project but i'm back in work and thought i'd start after all its not the cleanest car in the world but imo too good to break, the handbreaks not workin, which has casued a bit of front damage prior to me owning thecar. started by getting the front to peices to check the extent of the damage. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/cruisecannock/DSCF0884.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/cruisecannock/DSCF0885.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/cruisecannock/DSCF0890.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/cruisecannock/Image060.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/cruisecannock/Image065.jpg as you can see the radiator carrier is bent back but it has not damaged anything else at all ordered my headlights yesterday picked them up today, brand spanking new lucas ones, genuine front bumper and a pair of genuine wings are going to be ordered next week, need a bonnet and a boot lid but i'll get them second hand.http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/cruisecannock/Image067.jpg one of the wings on the car atm is off a mark b ghia, has the wing been made to fit of will it go round the mark 6 h/light perfectly? i don't want the recessed siderepeaters that limit me to the ovels. and last but not least, stripped the boot down only to find rust in all the usual places so thats gotta be replaced http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/cruisecannock/Image059.jpg not quite sure which root to take in styling terms atm, concentrating on the main things first, but i have got a set of grey 17inch 5spokes, a set of 16inch mondys which will need painting or the st170 wheels which are on atm, i want the ghia chrome front and rear (painted black), got a mint set of rst recaro's which hopefuly will be trimmed in gti leather and fabric, obviously going to need a repaint afterwards but not sure if it's staying green or going aston grey, and so on and so on lol comments welcome thanks
