Danzetec
Looks good Chris, we should of got out the yard for a photo-shoot tho Makes the alloys look right now, its obvious why you needed motorsport alloys for clearance when even the balance weights are in the way Will have to turn some centres for them next

Chris O
Well I haven't got around to posting for a while now so I thought it was about time I did a little of an update of what I've been up to (other than helping dan!) First up is a bit of an audio upgrade. From my old car I had two sets of very good Alpine R-Type component speakers. The fronts slotted into the speaker adapters with a little gentle persuasion but the rears were always going to be a little more tricky. I had to make a custom adapter plate to mount to the fitted of the the rear speaker adapter. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/ChrisO2006/DSC00002.jpghttp://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/ChrisO2006/DSC00003.jpg Next up came the problem of my alloys. Speedline don't make centres for my wheels so I had to get a little creative. With a lot of head scratching I finally come up with my hybrid centre caps. Made from genuine speedline centres let into some universal centres secured together by some araldite and a skim of filler to finish them off. I was quite surprised how well they turned out. I also decided to lose the blue Speedline Corse writing off the wheels as they looked a bit odd with the centre in. I treated the car to a fresh set of plates, which smartened it up no end. And last but not least a set of Cossie Pop out rear windows as I'd always wanted these on my first escort. Really pleased as they are a great mod. I have a couple of little items coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled, in the meantime here's a couple of pictures I took with my brother earlier... http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/ChrisO2006/Picture013-1.jpg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/ChrisO2006/Picture029.jpg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/ChrisO2006/Picture034.jpg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j279/ChrisO2006/Picture037.jpg Edited March 19, 2011 by Chris O
