Looks good Chris, we should of got out the yard for a photo-shoot tho :D

Makes the alloys look right now, its obvious why you needed motorsport alloys for clearance when even the balance weights are in the way :D Will have to turn some centres for them next :thumb:

Well I haven't got around to posting for a while now so I thought it was about time I did a little of an update of what I've been up to (other than helping dan!)

First up is a bit of an audio upgrade. From my old car I had two sets of very good Alpine R-Type component speakers. The fronts slotted into the speaker adapters with a little gentle persuasion but the rears were always going to be a little more tricky. I had to make a custom adapter plate to mount to the fitted of the the rear speaker adapter.

Next up came the problem of my alloys. Speedline don't make centres for my wheels so I had to get a little creative. With a lot of head scratching I finally come up with my hybrid centre caps. Made from genuine speedline centres let into some universal centres secured together by some araldite and a skim of filler to finish them off. I was quite surprised how well they turned out. I also decided to lose the blue Speedline Corse writing off the wheels as they looked a bit odd with the centre in.

I treated the car to a fresh set of plates, which smartened it up no end. And last but not least a set of Cossie Pop out rear windows as I'd always wanted these on my first escort. Really pleased as they are a great mod.

I have a couple of little items coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled, in the meantime here's a couple of pictures I took with my brother earlier...

cossie pop out are great, but you should've had them 'popped out' on the pics :D
