Update

Finally finished fitting my brembos with the help of Dan (well a lot of help from Dan), they put up a good fight!! Well pleased with the results, it feels like my neck is going to snap every time I brake hard . I have also fitted some colour coded handles brought off here (cheers Danny1107 top job :thumb: ).

Gave it a quick clean today so heres some pics, enjoy!!

Nice work on the car mate. would like to know the specs on your brembos as i have been looking at doing a brake conversion along the same line using porsche callipers. Any info would be grate mate

Easiest setup would be the rs focus/fiat coupe turbo brembos and the adapter brackets off ebay using focus rs discs. But this is fairly expensive and you need some big wheels 17" at least I would have thought. Make sure your alloys clear the brakes as my old mondeo 16" was a non starter with my setup. Something like comps would do the job nice. My setup is 305mm fiat coupe turbo discs redrilled to suit ford hubs (by red dot but you can't buy replacements from them for some reason) and aftermarket brembos with red dot carriers to suit. Luckily I bought this setup second hand as new it cost about £1200!!! :jaw:
