Stu
RGB isn't a cable type. The seperate RCA's is called 'component' SCART can carry RGB signals, as can component.
ST170 Dan
i'm not sure what you mean there. which of those cables is better?
Stu
If you want HD, you don't want SCART!
sortedford
I think hes refering to: RGB compositehttp://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_7_1/images/ces-2000-day-3a-nordost-optix-rgb-cable.jpgRarther than: Compositehttp://www1.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/3189440/2/istockphoto_3189440_audio_video_cable_isolation.jpg Does Wii not only got to 480i? Stu
sortedford- you mean component, not composite.
ST170 Dan
yeah i was told to get wii hd i need to buy an rgb cable (my understanding was that meant red, green, blue). i assume this is able to provide hd over your normal yellow, red and white (although red/white is audio so its technically yellow). im just wondering why the one cable i linked to has a scart type attatchment on the end instead of the separate red, green and blue? Lee_2f2f
Does Wii not only got to 480i? I know this is an old Thread but... Meh.... My Wii is on a component cable and it's pumping 576i. im just wondering why the one cable i linked to has a scart type attatchment on the end instead of the separate red, green and blue? My guess is its a RGB Scart cable rather than an actual A/V (red yellow white) cable?
