I think hes refering to: RGB compositehttp://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_7_1/images/ces-2000-day-3a-nordost-optix-rgb-cable.jpg

Rarther than: Compositehttp://www1.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/3189440/2/istockphoto_3189440_audio_video_cable_isolation.jpg

yeah i was told to get wii hd i need to buy an rgb cable (my understanding was that meant red, green, blue). i assume this is able to provide hd over your normal yellow, red and white (although red/white is audio so its technically yellow). im just wondering why the one cable i linked to has a scart type attatchment on the end instead of the separate red, green and blue?

I know this is an old Thread but... Meh....

My Wii is on a component cable and it's pumping 576i. :)

My guess is its a RGB Scart cable rather than an actual A/V (red yellow white) cable?
