finally got my new project :)

i wasn't going to bother to do a thread, but im bored, so here goes...

 

finally, project re-shell/rebuild can commense(sp?)

got some big plan's for it, hopfully this time i wont break it for spare's after building it lol

looks fookin lovely with widearches and no spoiler with mk5 back - REALLLY smooth.... 'ghetto booty' i think the jamicans call it lol ...........do NOT put a spoiler on :-)

 

i was thinking that myself, but it has the proper replica kit on, so the rear quarter's sit up abit higher to meet the lower spoiler. look's abit odd without one, in the flesh if you know what i mean? :unsure:

 

 

i wont be rushing this one like i did with the last, i want everything onit to be exactly how i want it... so it'l be quite a long winded project, although saying that, once i start i'll proberly want it done asap lol

 

im not cutting any corner's, im going to be striping all the underside back to bare metal and rust profin(sp?) everything i can as i want to keep this one for as long as possible, and just use it as a weekend toy, and maybe give it a pasteing round a few track day's, centainly wont be my daily drive like the last one because that just got wrecked ;(

 

cant wait to drive it, missing not being able to drive an escort ;(

should be, just stripping all the underside atm to give it abit of a mini resto, try and keep it as rust free as pos, will get pic's as and when there's been progress made...

once that's done i'll be cracking on with the engine etc :thumb:

 

might have it sprayed, but i havn't decided yet? not sure wether to have it done panther black (as it is now) or a matt black? also havnt decided wether to do the comp's black or white yet? decision's decision's lol

hopfully get 250-300bhp for time being, and then in the future i'll be rebuilding it again and hunting for more around 500bhp, and ill be having it converted to 4x4 or 2wd :)

 

ill deffinatly be getting a professional to do all that tho lol
