Go on Mike, how many pikies came acrosss to ask if you all wanted the scrap moving?

It was interesting to see the first car, but as they are all just the exactly the same 'mods' done just to different cars, it gets a bit boring after the second car.

Out of interest, how many of them were actually quick?

The sexual position formerly known as 69 is now called 96 due to inflation and the credit crunch, the cost of eating out has gone up!

to be fair, evo's not much better.... EVERYONE puts on gti skirts and spats and mondy wheels......... so we no better there... apart from the odd exception. as with the rat guys.

and as for speed. its all about looks and cruising. not racing. no good booting round a corner and the rack fall off :rol:

not that i'm sticking up for ratters, but thats IMO

Im the last person you need to be pointing that out to, Im bored to death with the gti skirts & spats thing, looking at Escort after Escort with the same mods. Thats the bit that gets me, sheep.

If its about looks then rat fails badly. It doesn't look nice, or pleasing in any way. And if it hasnt got any go, then what exactly makes the car an attractive proposition?

rat isn't spossed to look good.

its about not caring, having a laugh and being outrageous.

it does look shitty conditioned with rust, thats how it spossed to be.

when people shout out 'its looks rubbish mate does your car' its a compliment to them lol

its not all about rust, you dont have to have rust to have a rat

I wish i could have taken my pug :( It wouldn't have stood out but it looked like a good event. Alot of fun going on methinks. It's hard to write an upside to rat, but you have to like it. Once you can appreciate a rat vw camper and really like it, then you can appreciate other rat cars. Nu-rat is crap if you ask me. I paid £70 for my pug and its the most fun car i've ever had! You have to experience rat to truly appreciate it. But, like everything else, it gets boring. I'm just continuing it on for everyone elses enjoyment.

Shame i didn't make it :(
