KNITERIDER
if it costs more than the cars worth then whats the point lol and considering its an escort most cherished numbers would be worth more  why? providing you dont get a really old car, you can have it on all your cars in the future? it wont go off! hey you might win the lottery and have a buggati to put it on!  used to work with an asian bloke who had N(then two numbers, verses out of the kuran i think) and it was worth far more than his brand new avensis (top of the range etc) well well over 20k if i remember ritely... LiamGTR
if it costs more than the cars worth then whats the point lol and considering its an escort most cherished numbers would be worth moreWell considering it's only £249 all in on the DVLA site, i'm hoping my car is worth more than that! lol Dunno, i thought you might of gone for M4RT1N ??I've tried mate....as a tribute to the great MArtin himself, closest I could find was M4 RTN and that was silly money  yeh people that pay through the nose for plates are just idiots! never understood it to be honest!  Most id ever pay is the £250  annoying thing is where my name is Tomm, i cant put the plate on any car i own. it must be on a "99 or newer I agree with people paying £1,000's for plates seems a bit far fetched to me, but like I said above mine is the cheapest one there is on the DVLA (or close) so I may ask Santa

Danzetec
example: having a numberplate sayin ' DAN 18' which was valued at £18,000 and was on a mr2 which only cost £200 is a bit stupid no??? would you not rather have a car worth £18000 and a £200 number plate???? Depends if you are in to flash cars or making money tbh Liam was more talking about the £250 registration variety. You could just illegally space your current reg and blag the rest
escortlew
I know a guy who has a JCW mini, with the number plate W04KS JC which was recently valued at £2,500 and he payed £450 for. But if I was to get a number plate it would simply just be F5 Lew which F5 b-day and lew name, I also know a guy with "B0YCEY" and "DUMB0Y" which is brilliant I think, also my bro got with his car a number plate that says "H1 2 ERF" which we have never known what it means??? LiamGTR
I know spacing your reg plates is illegal, but what if there is no space i.e. 1 letter after another all in one line...is that illegal too ?
