Colin Posted November 6, 2009 Share Posted November 6, 2009 Cant seem to find any info online, bar bringing up random crap regarding American wagons, so can anyone give me the real world figures that an Escort Van will do if it has a diesel engine. I am doing mostly 45ish motorway miles and then around 5 miles of inner city driving everyday now, and the V6 ZT is a thirsty bugger when sitting at 85mph down the M2. So looking locally for an Escort Van but curious to see what the MPG is like on them in general. Anyone, ive done searches but no luck as MPG is too small to get on the search!! Used to go every other weekend between southend and yarmouth (120 miles Each way) on £20 fuel, Not exactly in a economical driving style ether. All in all quite economical. It does around 40-45 mpg, havent really figured it down to the exact number, just figured it with rounded numbers =] Thats driving everywhere with my foot on the floor as it doesnt go anywhere if not! Got a quote for £300, fpft unlimited millage for a Escort 75 van last week, so if I find a van bit closer to christmas when people want dosh more, may get a bargain. Thanks for the help folks!
