Craig855S
Apparently if 1 person buys the extra maps on his PS3, then you go round his house and add youself as a user on their PS3 (entering your email address etc..) then it registers those maps with ur PSN ID so when you go back to your own PS3 it will download them and have them working FOR FREE....this is what i've heard..any truth to it? Brown
Not sure, but the maps are horrible. I won't be buying any more

Craig855S
YEP!!I also downloaded call of duty classic, and a game pack for NFS shift that he'd paid for many moons ago too. And they work on my login, I've played the aftermarket maps with him online too so its foolproof
karl
So all you have to do is sign in with someone elses I'd and re-download?
Craig855S
Yep, someone who has paid for it using their PSN, then you go into PSSTORE and click "downloads" and pick the map pack that goes with your disc Id (written on the spine of the gamebox) [there are about 10 different disc IDs, you dont have to download the same pack your mate already has, you pick the one for you disc ID]
karl
Does it not make a difference on the ip or location?
Craig855S
Nope, I think maybe the reasoning behind it could be that it's the geuiine owner who has just had a replacement PS3, and maybe moved house, and bought a new copy of MW2 that uses a different disc ID.... I don't know why it works, it just does, get on it
