I know the car really well as a mate of mine bought it last year as a genuine 22,000 miles 1 lady owner complely standard car. Since he owned it has had a new alternator, new headlights, new timing chain set, new brakes all round, tappets and carb set up, full Ashley XR2 exhaust modded to fit, new K&N ,2x oil and filters(in 6 months), mk2 peppers, various little bits and bobs(wiper arm nut covers etc) and a fresh mot. Rigpig: i paid £1400 for it and he wanted £1700, which with the history, Hpi check ,and all the work ive sone on it in the past months is bad at all No plans as such for it in the near future, just enjoy it.But it will probably be lowered on 175/50/13's and the peppers painted black with a silver rim.
