Well it was lovely to get a nice dry day for this & a lovely show full of variation.

Nice to see Marky Mark, Kevscort & Rachyx (who turned up while I was still in bed)

Great to see Danposse (who was at the entrance & caught me off guard, didnt see him till he was in my face slapping me around the head. Caught a glipse of Drax in the opposite que but didnt see him again. Spotted Chris's white car with the mersyside club (car looks lovely chris).

As said there were lots of wierd & wonderful cars & a massive turnout filling Oulton Park. Ill certainly return for the next one as it was a great pic fest. Plenty of action on the track & the first time I have witnessed propper drift cars (bloody skillful).

We left my house just before 9am & arrived for the gates opemimg (handy living miles from the venue). I was a bit worried as we didnt cue for long but was pleased to see the place crammed full.

I left just after 5pm when the drift challenge finished.

It was a really good day out, i'll be going again next year. Lots of quality cars and plenty of events going on The drift cars were ace and shows how skillful a sport it is, those cars pack some power. Me and the kids found ourselves watching the R/C drift cars, some of the drifts they were doing put the big boys to shame Nice to meet up with PeeWee who's cabby is looking pretty special at the moment but i'll leave it to Pete to show you Had a chat with Kev and Rachy before we left for the show, Rachy's car will soon fit right in with what was on show today when its finished. All in all a good day

Forgot about those rc drift cars they were so cool lol, awsome the way they control them. Glad you liked the cabby its been a long time coming but I really like it now. Nice pics those Mark.

Wasnt a bad show, I was there more to watch the Time Attack and the Formula Fords. Was nice to say a quick hello to a few people off here. There were some stunning looking cars about, but there was also a fair bit of tat (which I guess was good for the comedy aspect of the show).

 

Mark, you got a photo of the Aston Martin that was with the RSM Formula Ford group that I was supporting today, that thing sounds amazing when given a bit of throttle. The owner was the one driving the FF car

 

I have got a shed load of photos, going to take a fair while for me to sort, so they should appear in the next few days.

 

Hopefully the positive report of this show will encourage more people from the North to come along to the show next year (I cant as I'm not in the UK), but it would be good to see an Evo stand there next year.

I was considering coming along but i spent the day messing with the RS, plus i've only had it 7 days and have spent about £350 already, the modifying has started lol So i could do with saving the money it would cost in fuel.....Sounds like you all had a good day though
