TC-DNB's Juice Green Escort Cabriolet

It's the RS Accessory kit. I've been told it was a factory fitted optional extra. Very rare kits now. Bumpers, skirts, spoiler and grill. Looks the part ay!?

Not sure if the skirts would fit a 5dr TBH

yea lol does look the part if its rare then it probley wont be cheap to get hold of , thought it would make a change from spats and gti skirts , not into kits, like the factory look on an escort.

Sun was out today so went topless after work ;)

Quick clean and few pictures...enjoy.

Lately been thinking about some 'subtle' decals - yes or no? Opinions welcome. And i don't mean F&F style, more a simple stripe or small chequered flag etc

Looking nice mate, I would vote no to any decals. I know its tempting but think less is often more :thumb:

You thought of doing the lower grill and trumpets in black?

As it goes...yes. The lower grill is temporary - just whacked it in as lost the other one after hitting that rabbit. I was thinking black grill with green trumpets :)

Undecided on decals. I've only thought it has seen a few new motors with simple decals and I quite like it.

Looking good, I would stay off decals IMO - but I guess depends what you are thinking?

Nothing big or in your face. Just something small and simple i.e couple of black pin stripes down side, or small racing flag infront of rear wheel on side. Seen a ford racing decal on eBay that may work.

very nice cabby, I really like the style and wheels :thumb:

Thanks fella

As FITP is coming up I thought I'd tart up my engine bay! My mate and I fitted my decat exhaust yesterday and he randomly had a can of VW Dragon Green paint. I've painted the strut brace, cam belt cover, exhaust heat shield and the metal bar keeping my induction kit nice and rigid. It's not a perfect match and it could have done with another coat but a/ I run out and b/ I'm skint until payday haha. However, it does look good and much better than boring black.

Pictures to follow when I get to a computer with Internet!

It definately needs another coat, so this weekend it will all be off again and sprayed with the juice green, so it's ready for FITP. You can't tell from these pics but the underside of the strut brace is still in primer :pancake:

Can't wait to get a perfect finish to it :thumb:
