Hmmm I'm thinking some braking power may have to be compromised for the cossies here, i cant see there being much difference in the RS rear setup against the focus one anyway, maybe an RS rear setup with genuine ford pads or OE equiv. But i guess you may aswell try it on your setups first, my guess is your tyres going to be making a lot of scrubbing noises, and if they don't and they do clear i bet they will be too far out of the arch (legally) without some body modifications which is surely going to get costly.

i found no difference in going from the rs2k beam to the focus setup, infact the handbrake was 10x better on the rs2k :nutter: only the fact that i had been through 2 hubs and finding one was getting harder and harder that i decided to go focus + the extra width is nice

Be careful if your gonna do them yourself, bare in mind that escorts are double skinned arches! they are gonna be a pig to roll, if your split or disturb the two sheets (inner & outer) you'll let damp in and rust will follow!

My mate whos well into his drifting is gonna do it with a proper machine. Hes done a few motors now so hopefully he will be fine with the Escort arches (fingers crossed)

gonna be interesting :pancake: + 25mm focus discs + 8j cossies

Here you go :)

Looks a lot better than i thought it would in terms of petruding the arch! And as i say, most cars are single skinned arches so are easy to roll with heat and the tool. But i hope it does work as id probably look at getting it done :D lol. looks much better with the morrettes and cossies ... common look ;) lol! =D I hope my car gave you some inspiration at FITP :) Edited by escort-ross

My heart was set on these wheels since FITP. Every car looked sick with them on. I hope the arches work too although saying that no scrubbing on my journey home. I think rear passengers may be an issue though lol
