0-60 was miles way as it's usual location wasn't available. As they decided to use the full F1 circuit this year, they couldn't do it under the bridge as usual.

I don't think this was the best FF I've ever been to to be honest. The trade area didn't seem that amazing this year, and the RSOC stands weren't that great. It was ok overall though. It just bugs me a bit that you can't really see it all. The day is long enough, so you would have time to have a good wander round all of it, as well as doing things like the 0-60 and watch some track action, but it seems that by 3.30, half the people have gone, so the show area (especially between the two bridges) is half empty by that point. People seem desperate to leave early to avoid the queue, but all end up queueing to do so!

I had four runs on the 0-60 in my 2.0 Mex, first was 8.63, second I tried shifting to second a bit earlier as it was spinning so much in first, but it just bogged down so was 9.23, third was 8.75, and the final run I just cocked up completely and it was about 9.8  I think there's probably more in it, as a lot of 2.0s seem to be in the low 8s, and I was hoping for 8.5 or less, but it's never felt as quick as others I've been, and was on shite, massive profile, tyres too. Can't complain for a £600 though!

Didn't see any standard ones run. There was one in front of me at one point, but that's stripped out, on bodies with cams and things and was in the 6s. There was a 2.3 4x4 that did a 6.1 run too.

Book figure is about 8.2 I believe.

shame i could walk that far :( and would have done 0-60 run but my clutch is original and at just shy of 96K it would just become a pile of dust after 1 run :P

next year however...

had a look round stands near us and was just mk2 RS, mk2 RS, mk2 ST, something YB'd and so on.

would have liked to check out the trade stalls, see what bits i could get for the mondy like HID's for a reasonable price like i got for the escort.

Mark took the Fiesta 2L on the strip. He had a lot of wheel spin at the start so he had to keep the revs down for a bit. His best run was 6.8.
