if your windscreen is really bad or just needs a good initial clean metholated spirits is your answer, gets rid of everything and works well inside and out, i swear by it

edit also works well on house windows as well

I use Autogym Fast Glass. it's a decent product and every so often they do the 100% extra free deal, which makes it a great value for money product.

oohhh yessss, will bring your windscreen back as new (with a bit of elbow grease), minus scratches and chips, and dont worry the smell does not last long

edit sorry should have added when you have the worst of the cr*p off final wipe with damp news paper (not wet) that will get rid of any little streaks, you may have

Looks interesting. It reminded me of my new issue.

 

Stupid question coming up - I bought another escort last month and the previous owner obviously wasn't a big fan of changing wipers at least once a decade... As a result of that the windscreen has long sweeping scratches across the whole wiper reach area.

 

Is there ANYTHING I can do to remove those ? Anything really, other than £85 for new windscreen and bondage paste.
