eetaylog
Can anyone recommend a decent tyre shine product? The last couple i bought (turtlewax & halfords jobbie) either left my alloys with black oily streaks, or just wasnt very good at giving the tyres a wet look. JC
From having used many, meguirs tyre gel (purple bottle) with the foam applicator (important to use) is the best stuff and I recommend

Trig
Clean the tyres first, let them dry and then Megs endurance tyre gel will work a treat for 3 or 4 weeks. I find that using a microfibre to apply it works well as it doesnt make them greasy, you are kind of buffing it on, so you get a nice matt sheen and the product wont splatter down the side of the car once the wheels start turning

Hezz
i got some of this megs stuff on the recommendation of trig, i've found it a pain to apply but good when it's on there i've found that the black cans of tyre-shine to be easy to apply and last well though too

Trig
i got some of this megs stuff on the recommendation of trig, i've found it a pain to apply but good when it's on there A 5p sized blob for half a tyre, on an old microfibre, buff it on, bingo. It shouldn't be hard to apply. Edited March 4, 2011 by Trig
