Looking nice mate bet you can't wait till it's finished

Indeed I cant.

Another smallest update. Refitted couple rubber grommets in the boot. Fitted scuttle panel ( although caught it on the bonnet so needs a quick re-blacking) :kill:  Fitted exterior door handles, although my screwdrivers had it so all slightly loose at the mo  :nutter: , Fitted all wipers and fitted the plastic boot trim. Also found a load of screws I thought were missing so that's a result. Oh, and adjusted one of the front doors as it didnt run smooth into the rear door.

Also had to jump start the car as battery was dead....again (gonna have to be careful of that!)  and let it ran for a good hour and a half to juice it up.

Hopefully if its dry tomorrow I'm gonna pick up some new screwdrivers  and do some more. Fitting all the seat belts, fuse box cover trim and get all the seats in it - front and back. Also will need a severe hoover out and dash is almost furry so plenty of scrubbing to clean that up. Hopefully if I get that done I'll get some more pics.

Again nothing major. The other half has given birth to no 2 so not a lot of time free! The car started running lumpy and in the end wouldnt start. Also was a hissing noise coming from somewhere in the engine. Managed to find a split vacuum hose under the coil pack and with the addition of a new battery, fired up a treat.

Also cleaned up my dash surround, and resprayed some plastic trim in matt black. These included the gear surround, glove box handle and the casing behind the steering wheel. All of which were previously white!

Heres the re-painted trim from the previous update. Now have also re-sprayed the triangle door trims for the back doors and the front trims for the mirror adjusters.

Seat backs were rank, decided to give them a once over before they were fitted.

Big hoover session was required!

The cables for the stereo system in the boot were also re-installed a lot neater than before.

Seats were washed then cleaned with a leather cleaner before being fitted. Quite a bit of grime on these!

Also cleaned and fitted door cards as well as a million (slight exaggeration) screws all over the shop. Finally its piecing back together nicely.

This was how it was left tonight, got dark really quick!

Next on the agenda is to clean the dash up and fit the surround. I also need to get hold a standard gear knob and handbrake handle.I need to fit the interior door handle trim piece on all corners too.

Clean some windows and window rubbers then I think its front bumper time.

Yeah I know they are 3 door, Doesn't matter though.  :))  I like the rear bench. Got that and the door cards for 30 notes off Ebay probably 2 years ago!
