True Blue
Hello! how to remove scratches from the grey plastic dashboard? (not the dash surround) my car has very small marks, near the dash surround and cd, also probably because of the removal/change of these parts, see the picture: http://i701.photobucket.com/albums/ww12/Exceedraft/Escort%20Ghia-X%20Restoration/escos.jpg
lee grout
They're the sort of scuffs where something has dug in not just scratched it! Problem is you can sand tescuff down so its not lipped however it wont blend in nicly as the dash is textured!? Unless your uber careful and just file down THE IMMEDIATE AREA. Maybe mask off all around said marks. Give it a go.

The plastic dash is still smooth on these scratches... I even thought about sanding or try to paint over these scuffs but to be honest I'm afraid to get worse Edited May 25, 2011 by True Blue
lee grout
Why not get a V sharp stanley blade and actually cut off the raised areas of the scuffs.
