duffa Posted December 29, 2011 Share Posted December 29, 2011 ok ... so you protect your no-claims .. have a claim last year ( none fault ) and its paid out ..other parties fault ...try doing an online quote this year and my insurance goes up by £70 ...hows that work then ?? ...someone went into the back of the wifie..so no contest ...seems I'M getting punished for the stoopid young lad hitting my wife.... am i wrong to think this is ......wrong ????? ScORTED Posted December 30, 2011 Share Posted December 30, 2011 by being involved in an accident you increase your statistical likelyhood of being involved in another, even if you are not at fault (or as is the case not even driving).Remeber the insurance only have very limited data to calculate your risk, basically you start off a bad/dangerous driver then after years of proving you are a good driver you get a discount any proof your not a good driver knocks you back down... protecting no claims is a bit of a joke tbh but thats another story.
