Jordan99940
Kit car - Any vehicle that is created primarily from kit or prefabricated parts, and is a reproduction or replica. An original factory-built vehicle that utilizes prefabricated fiberglass body units to replace worn or damaged original parts is not a kit car. An original factory-built vehicle that utilizes prefabricated fiberglass body units to replace worn or damaged original parts is not a kit car. Actually, going by the definition there it may actually be possible The wings, spoiler, bumpers, skirts are all prefabricated parts, and the car then is a replica the prefab parts are not there to replace worn or damaged parts, theyre there to change the shape of the car, in the same way the MR2 kit puts fibreglass arches over the MR2 body in the shape of a ferrari.....However the MR2 ferrari is more prefab parts than origional parts by the end of it. So the key phrase is "created primarily from"
