tomsy
Thanks for all your comments guys, all the suspension and steering parts were fitted last week by my garage, car feels so much firmer on the road now. The only problem i seem to have now is the exhaust vibrating against the underbody more so when pulling off up hill. The cars got a stainless tail pipe fitted not sure what make but would i be right in thinking that most after market stainless tail pipes dont fit that well, im sure i've read about this problem on here, any advice always welcome. Ahmotorsport
It might be where it goes over the rear beam, as you've now lowered it.
tomsy
Todays been the first day in weeks due to work and the weather i've been able to get some jobs done on the car, started off by giving the engine bay a spruce up, this is how it looked when i started. http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30716.jpg http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30717.jpg Then it started snowing lol. http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30721.jpg Jet washed off all the degreaser ran the engine to dry everything off then gave the whole engine bay a good spray of wd40 cleaned off with a dry cloth, fitted my new strut brace and a few bits stainless steel bling i've accumulated over the last few months and this is how it looks. http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30723.jpg http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30724.jpg http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30725.jpg Probably looks better in the flesh than in the photos and yes i know the cam cover really needs painting it lets the rest of the engine bay down.Next up i fitted my new head unit. http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30726.jpg A vast improvement on the original ford one and looks good as well not really into sub woofers and bass boxes so original speakers will be kept.Last and easiest job today was to fit my wind deflectors really easy to do and imo really suit the car on the look out now for a wind delector for sun roof. http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30727.jpg Seeing as the sun came out today i couldn't resist a few pics after a wash and polish. http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30728.jpg http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30729.jpg http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30730.jpg Its been a busy day thats all for now all comments welcome good or bad tomsy. tomsy
Never heard of an electric tilt before, im talking about access to the rear by lifting lever on side of seat and back of passenger seat tilting forward.
Markc
Never heard of an electric tilt before, im talking about access to the rear by lifting lever on side of seat and back of passenger seat tilting forward. when you pull this lever it should tilt forward and move the seat forward to as you say allow access to the rear. best to get the seat out to do this as itll need stripping down. pretty sure theres a cable from the lever to the base of the back part of the seat that lifts the locking mech (under the side plastics). take the plastic cover off the side of the seat and move the lever to see if theres any movement (do the same with the drivers seat if you unsure what you need to see moving). nice car tho, got to love radiant red Edited February 19, 2013 by Markc

tomsy
Finally got round to fitting my angel eyes today this is what we started with. http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30851.jpg First up removed bumper. http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30852.jpg While the bumper was off decided to strengthen my fixings for splitter, looks a little industrial for a piece of plastic but the self tapping screws were ripping out every time the splitter caught on anything, so half a dozen of these screws and nuts and jobs a goodun. http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30853.jpg New lights fitted only plugged the multiplugs together wasn't sure about other wires and bumper back on this is the result. http://www.evo-host.co.uk/getimg/30854.jpg As you can see diferent lights are lit in either lamp, have posted in the electrical section about this and awaiting some solutions tomsy

tomsy
Got to admit if i could get a set of morrettes that looked as good as yours that would be my 1st choice but i wanted to change my lights and angel eyes seemed the easiest option, thankfully they're working tidy now one of the plugs was wired incorrectly will get some night pics on here see if i can change your mind about angel eyes tomsy.
