scottybo Posted August 7, 2012 Author Share Posted August 7, 2012 small update, pics to follow at weekend when i get some real work done i believe i have found out why the car felt underpowered when compared to the green escort, i think the air mass meter is up the swanny, i went to start the car the other day and it wouldnt start for hell nor leather, it sat on my drive for like a week with me tinkering when i got the time. unplugged air mass meter and it started after a few seconds on the starter. and when i plugged it back in the engine speed slowed till it was practically about the stall then picked up again a few seconds after. ive since cleaned the meter out with some good old wd40 and its a lot better but still feels way slower than the green escort any ideas? or if someone wants to donate a mass meter for testing lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
