Naylor2006
As much as many people have tried to talk me out of it ive never really been that fond of these rims and would like to go back to something that fits properly and doesnt require machining or fancy equipment to get the correct tracking/camber etc. I would actually be happy to swap for mint 16" Mondeo Cosworth Style alloys. My Cosworth's are straight but do need a refurb, I have no idea of their value but they are genuine and still have the reg plate number of the original car stamped to them. My options are open as to what wheel to swap for but it has to be 16" Here are some pictures however I have nothing close up yet. http://www.dontcallmeshirley.eclipse.co.uk/phils/phils_pics/mynewcar/fordfairprep/IMG_1105.JPG http://www.dontcallmeshirley.eclipse.co.uk/phils/phils_pics/mynewcar/fordfairprep/IMG_1111.JPG Let me know if your interested. ScORTED
go for something in a 15 x 6j to 7j I'd say gti/si/rs wheels or maybe something after market and lightweight as the mk5/6 is best on wheels this size, admittedly you can't fit st calipers under there but you can fit the cosworth 280s, plus you'll be able to buy really good tyres for not a lot of money. The cosworth wheels are worth at least £200 without tyres nearer 400 with a top branded tyre...
JC
shame theses probably wouldn't fit over the brakes: http://www.escortevolution.co.uk/forums/in...howtopic=148129

Naylor2006
Anything that won't fit over my callipers is a no no, don't want to be powdercoating a set of calipers to match my stuff again.

Naylor2006
Leaning away from OEM+ now, too many temptations, prolly end up making a rash decision somewhere but oh well. Seen way too many rims I like now that ive decided to be less stubborn. Still its nice to be thinking about that rather than the mechanical woes ive had over the last year. I love the 15" RS2000 rims but i'd need to buy new brakes, send em to Sleeman, have him shotblast and powdercoat again, fit with new discs bleed the brakes etc. In fact bearing in mind I have the MK3 mondeo setup and the holes drilled for it not sure I can go back. Yeh and I think thats a more realistic valuation. Looking forward to seeing what you choose im sure what ever you choose they'll look good as you seem to have a good eye for what best suits your car. Nice of you to say, I hope so, its definitely going to split opinion, most people get on with the Cossies but I'm very quickly leaning towards a non Ford wheel now, snot like I cant change em again in 6 months time.
