Now let me introduce myself, I'm a man of wealth and taste............ was looking for a new car over the summer and out of the blue (or should I say black) I found this 2001 Escort finesse 1.6 with only 27k on the clock! with only a few minor ailments (one being that it was totally standard!) it ran as sweet as a nut and was within budget. As soon as I got it home, the front and rear light came out and replaced with tinted front and black lexus', the side repeaters where smoked, the standard exhaust came of and replaced with a 4" Peco and a K&N induction kit sucks the air in! The speakers and the stereo was ripped out and a Kenwood head unit with Audiobhan 6.5inches was fitted all round. Satan himself was added to protect the new project in the way of a Clifford Concept 650mk2 with added omni sensor and duel zone proxi sensor. A orig ford boot release button was fitted with a solinoid added to pop the boot, wired in to look like it has always been there. 6 speed intermittant wipers have been added to the front along with the relay for the intermittant rear wiper. I've added a second rear fog light into the near side fog housing and added a second luggage compartment light (1 is never bright enough), Footwell lights are going in next week and I am literally fitting a mk5 fiesta white dials whith red needles covered with a set of plasma dials, coupled with a white faced ghia clock as I type. I received a set of rs2k side skirts and rear spats yesterday which are currently in the garage having the paint stripped off before respraying to match, they will be fitted as soon as poss. I have a Lockwood lower grill on order and a 4" cold air intake ready to cut into it and I'm also in the middle of taking a ghia chrome grill and am going to do something special to it, something that probably has never been seen before. Personalised plates take pride of center place with domed carbon lettering (sweet!!). bearing in mind that I only bought the car beginning of August, I don't think thats bad going at all. Anyway, take a look and updated photos will be added as I go:

I've no sympathy for those alloys, but the car looks a nice clean base to build on :)

hehe, cheers guys. had to go for the 5 door due to the kids getting in and out of the back and I have serious back problems. would have loved a cossie or an rs2k, cars a 2001 y reg but changed to an s plate when got the personalised plate - for some reason the y version was twice the price of the s version (so much for the wealth part! :) )

did have an escort till 2006 then got a company car (fiat :censored: ) gone self employed now so decided to go back to the escort

planning to lower and get decent alloys over the next 6 months, front splitter, get the minor scratches in the paint sorted in the spring and a few engine tweeks to get a few more horsepower out of it. any further ideas i get from you guys will be seriousley considered.

yeah seen lucifer 2 and what happened to lucifer 1 shame.

Anyone got any suggestions, I want a pentagram sort of design, but as I don't have any nice large brake discs yet and 'orrible drum on the back, don't want to open the wheels up too much, if you know what I mean. gonna paint the drum and the callipers etc, tidy them up a bit, but still looking for wheel designs.
