The cars out here are crazy. You see Ferrari's and Lamborghini's so often, that no one even bats an eyelid when they roll by. A guy blasted off from the lights popping a wheely on his Ducatti this morning, lol. Anyway, its currently averaging 11.7 mpg, and its less than £10 for a full tank of super. I was just over for a long weekend to visit (currently inn Amsterdam on my way home). The Qatar car scene is really something to behold. There are lots of crazy colours for starters - I saw a matte finish car every day. A matte red Range Rover and a matte white Phantom were my favourites. Insurance is quite unique too - you insure via the dealer when you buy the car, and its they actual car that's insured, which means anyone who gets behind the wheel is covered. Craig, the streets are filled with 4x4's - I saw a bunch of GMC's but not that one. I think the most popular 4x4's are the Nissan Patrols and the Toyota FJ (which my mates wife has).
