Tape on the bumper was to 'try' and hide the epic paint flake I hadn't got around to sorting :(. Iwas mopping the thing at half 9 the night before...finished the final wax at half 11...left at 3.45 :(

I thought the tape was a good paint match

Lol :pancake: They all looked great. Who's car was the silver one.....and not JC's!?

That would be Chico

Seems it's me :pancake: had a good day it's nice to see new faces and check with the old ones, liked where the stand was, hope the club attends to more shows! no pics to share from me, sorry.

The vans that were on show just made me realize that I am a million miles away from taking it and putting it on the club stand at a show as big as Ford Fair!!!
It would be nothing short of embarrasing tbh

Ever noticed that putting "anal" in front of some ford model names makes them sound funny? Fiesta, Probe, Ranger. Explorer, Maverick etc... lol

TBH Andy.... after picking up on my own car, small flawes etc I too would feel a bit awkward showing it, Thinking people would pick up on little bits n bobs. Saying that There were plenty of cars that were bashed, scraped, scratches etc. Moral is, very few are 'pristine' condition which you think they are. Our cars would all fit in fine :thumb:

what ive learnt is. does it have a ford badge? if yes then it can go to ford fair! the only people that care what it is or what it looks like are the RS owners clubs....but no one talks to them anyway lol

Me and tomsy went to the concourse show bit and we saw the most horrible car ,it was a light green ,escort mk6. It looked abit like that green mondeo which was put up last night.

it was an embarrassment, that was the only car I can remember that I hated.
hope he isnt a member.
any1 see it

Yes! The lime green mk6 straight from the fast and the furious........10 odd years ago lol. Not even a nice version though! The bloke who got out of it was a bit hippy like, mid to late 40's, looked a little bit......mad!
Horrible wheels, painted two or 3 colours iirc! Was NOT good, and I tolerate a lot that others wont!

Oh and there was a couple crap fiesta's. 1 was red with garish pink wheels! Other even had parking sensors fitted! If you cant park a fiesta 8o
Also there was a pink....think it was a puma with horrid chrome wheels! Looked awful but was a bit of comical effect!

I've been having a mid life crisis for the last ten years tomsy,
and probably for the next ten lol.
There were a few cars there that made me go WOW, some made me go WHY?,and some a plain and simple
WOT THE FCUK were they thinking when they did that?
Old Skool Fords showed what us oldies are capable of,
adored the black and gold van.
