New head unit

Anyone got any recommendations on a stellar head unit? Mine is 7 years old so thought I might upgrade. But there's so many about I don't really know what one I want.

I've got a kenwood now and it's always been great.

personally

 

Id get your self a cheap pre-amp HU, stash it in the glovebox and fit a 7" tablet were the HU usually go's.

 

so much more versatile (use for videos/music/radio, net access at hotspots, reverse cam, free sat-nav etc etc)

 

looks the nuts if you do it clean too (even on the cheap).
