Mk6 escort engine bay wiring loom

i have 2 mk6 escort 1 is 3 door auto and the other is 5 door manual. I want to make the auto into a manual, I have all the parts out of the manual to put into the auto to make it then to a manual but I have been told I need a different loom and others say I don't need one

I'm confused,

Reason why I'm doing this is because the auto escort was my nans car and also because the auto box has died on me

Help please

 

Ps. The auto is P reg and manual is S reg
