Paddy gti
With the escort off the road and not having any intention as using it for a daily driver again this is my replacement daily motor the escort can sit safely in the garage 2.0 TDCI Ghia .. had just over 100 thou on clocks when i bought it brand new clutch and dual mass flywheel 10 months MOT set me back £800 .. receipt for parts and labour for the clutch and flywheel comes to more than that when i bought it http://i1228.photobucket.com/albums/ee454/Superdream84/Mondingo/1528507_1025537050791913_1299284417589249000_n_zpsho6amskj.jpg http://i1228.photobucket.com/albums/ee454/Superdream84/Mondingo/10428616_1026886810656937_722619809206631679_n_zpsxpp2rlub.jpg first few additions were wind deflectors black headlights a different grill and st wheels http://i1228.photobucket.com/albums/ee454/Superdream84/Mondingo/1798697_1050495534962731_7721269369103984288_n_zpsoms6tz0c.jpg then fitted some bonnet vents to distract from the appalling condition of the bonnet (never had a car as badly stonechipped as this old front bumper windscreen roof) trying to find a good condition replacement bonnet in this colour is proving a challenge .. final facelift tail lights .. zetec s spoiler zetec s front and rear bumpers zetec s grill .. painted some brows on the headlights (dont like how the stick on plastic ones rise up over the body lines) .. full stainless straight through twin exit exhaust and decat then a wheel colour change .. got some zetec s skirts just gotta find time to get them painted http://i1228.photobucket.com/albums/ee454/Superdream84/Mondingo/12279105_1205381492807467_249222578118251029_n_zpspniargvs.jpg http://i1228.photobucket.com/albums/ee454/Superdream84/Mondingo/12249738_1205381526140797_100561054278019019_n_zps3olyve8r.jpg http://i1228.photobucket.com/albums/ee454/Superdream84/Mondingo/12227814_1205381512807465_4186872806654907073_n_zpsqtrdok0w.jpg Edited December 14, 2015 by Paddy gti
scottybo
Looks tidy man! Only thing is.....when you fit big wheels like thst. These mondeos tend to sit yp really high and the arch gap becomes really big. Otherwise i really like the mk3 mondeo and this looks like a tasty one

These mondeos tend to sit yp really high and the arch gap becomes really big. Otherwise i really like the mk3 mondeo and this looks like a tasty one Absolutely hated it when i bought it much refer a dark colour car but tonic blue is growing on me just flown through its MOT and the arch gap looked a lot worse running the standard ghia 16's but with this motor im a bit weary of lowering it the front bumper has already fallen victim to a speed bump .. was gutted i was putting the lower splash guard back on and saw the scrapes on my lovely freshly painted bumper .. had an occasional limp mode problem that i traced to a split intercooler to egr valve hose and the pipe that fed the egr exhaust gasses had split at the bellowshttp://i1228.photobucket.com/albums/ee454/Superdream84/Mondingo/AB441033-9039-4E25-B4B0-3476A2F82704_zpsryt2jspf.jpg http://i1228.photobucket.com/albums/ee454/Superdream84/Mondingo/F1291A81-7B66-4476-B721-37EB4FF6E03C_zpscqluumhz.jpg http://i1228.photobucket.com/albums/ee454/Superdream84/Mondingo/6A179031-2A58-4E39-A035-97EE35452722_zps5hsozepb.jpg http://i1228.photobucket.com/albums/ee454/Superdream84/Mondingo/157A52EC-FD16-4117-A3B8-A0BCAE1C6083_zpsacy8tl7a.jpg Not visible looking at the car but knowing they are there is annoying the hell out of me
SLEEMAN
paddy its common for those type of scratches to happen on lowered cars and such a low front bumper. it happens from going over speed bumps too quickly!

Paddy gti
Finally got my hands on a decent engine cover with all the locating rubbers intact and the lagging on so it doesn't rattle and come loose only problem was some of the lettering had rubbed so re did the silver in tonic blue to match the car http://i1228.photobucket.com/albums/ee454/Superdream84/Mondingo/B3C06202-0DEB-47FF-A3F5-6EFA598B16E1_zps0czskutu.jpg http://i1228.photobucket.com/albums/ee454/Superdream84/Mondingo/FBBF9CF3-52C3-41AE-8CBC-9FBC41F8FAA2_zps4vpduukr.jpg
