no, electric arials are live when the ignition is on as they need power to go up.

 

in the back of the radio youll have a constant power, which is memory.

youll also have a ignition which is stero power ( ie the stereo can only come on when the ignition is on) thats the one you need to take a feed from.

or take a feed off the perminant live (stereo memory) and put a switch and to the remote lead

 

check the pulgs on the rear of the stereo tho cos my kenwood has amp remote, and electric arial.

Cheers for the help lads :thumb: Job was made harder cos the touch screen h/u has another standalone processor unit and it looks like spaghetti junction :baby:

 

Great sense of self-achievement now, but the bootlid now rattles like fcuk :( Ever wish you never started something.......... :innocent:
