sortedford Posted May 2, 2005 Share Posted May 2, 2005 no, electric arials are live when the ignition is on as they need power to go up. in the back of the radio youll have a constant power, which is memory.youll also have a ignition which is stero power ( ie the stereo can only come on when the ignition is on) thats the one you need to take a feed from.or take a feed off the perminant live (stereo memory) and put a switch and to the remote lead check the pulgs on the rear of the stereo tho cos my kenwood has amp remote, and electric arial.
