foxdie
As you all know i had the op. All went swimmingly. Turns over but doesn't turn over. The coil isn't sending a spark. we tried another coil and that didn't work either. We changed the leads and plugs still nothing. Even called a mechanic round to check the wiring out. all fine. Only thing i can think of is the Crank sensor is faulty, so gonna swap that with my original 1.8 one. Any ideas? the wiring is correct, plugs arnt in the wrong holes. and everything is wired up correctly, and all earths are... earthed. the coil just isn't sending a spark... c'mon solve my problem becuase i SOOO want to be able to drive to the in-laws this weekend I was thinking the PATS is kicking in, but i think that affects the fueling not the ignition. so im lost... I pulled the lead/Plug out and tested it on the Cover, but its not sparing, so im not sure :S

ANDYC
personally i think you both need the same ecu as ralph i thought id just plug mine straight in without swaping wires and it ran fine which was strange ive been looking through wiring diagrams and found that my wires are in different places to a mk6 my injectors are in pin numbers 58 59 39 35 only two of these match up to what ralph had to do on his conversion my fuel pump wire is in number 1 different to ralphs and wire 22 on mine is an earth not pats
ANDYC
which means that differnt mondeos had different looms so i think u will be there forever and a day trying to match wires up
