Joe
Hello Stu, did you not get the leather interior? It needs it...
Stu
I think you guys might be right about the spoiler.. I just double checked and the ebay item says "saloon spoiler" but later down it mentions 3/5 door.. argh, i've emailed the seller to cancel due to inaccurate description. The finis number is 5051595 if anyone wants to look it up on microcat. Joe- it will get leather at some point.

tezmanian devil
nice base.the mk5a spoiler would look better than a mk6 one i would of thought tho... does'nt have the hole/groove for the wiper.i have 3 atm so your more than welcome to have one, 2 silver and one black one. im also interested in the dash flocking thing, i want all the interior plastics done tho, dash, centre console, and any other bit of trim!pm me about it if you'd be so kind
massivewangers
Sounds very good this, not enough saloons get modified so will be nice to see how this works out. Also like the sound of the engine, Zetec turbo's do really interest me, so look forward to hearing of your plans mate

Stu
Looks like a good base car, Whats first then, get the welding done? No, the first thing is to strip the car down to a rolling shell so I can properly assess what needs doing. I swear a mate of mine has one of those spoilers floating about. Can ask him if you like mate? Yeah that'd be great. I believe they're also used on cabriolets.
Hezz
Ive just noticed stu, is that the actual spoiler you have bought? it has the cut out for the wiper that the hatchback spoilers have. Is there a difference for the saloon spoilers?they're known as boomerang spoilers, normally on the cab si's
