Stu
My best plan of attack right now is to build a low-profile box under the rear shelf/deck to house a sub or two, using the OE speaker grills in the rear shelf.. I've come across these 6x9" sub-woofers which I think i'd be able to use... http://www.tb-speaker.com/detail/1230_04/W69-1436/w69-1436_3.jpg http://www.tb-speaker.com/detail/1230_04/w69-1436.htm I bit the bullet and ordered a pair of these from the states today ($250 delivered) along with a pair of 5x7 > 6x9 adapters (although i'll probably just cut these up, but they were cheap!). I intend to make a slimline box maybe just 3-4" deep to run under the rear shelf to house these subs and seal up against the OE holes in the rear deck. I need to have a proper look under there as I can't have anything protruding too far into the boot as I need the space.
Yana
6x9 subs, interesting. I think they will sound quite good actually, should give a punchy sound without being overpowering.. just the way bass is suppose to be. Interesting idea with the box as well, could be a nice result! Stu
I broke all of the images and I can't edit the thread, so i'm going to close/delete this one and start up a new one to reflect the actual project and have working pics
