I got 2 both not working! :nutter: Could it be the control module knackered?

A bit of a weird question but should the central locking work if the module is unplugged?

cheers. :thumb:

Central locking will lock/unlock without the module, shouldn't deadlock though.

Which module do you have?

I've just received this off Sacrst

"the control units are fitted to both fiesta and escort models from 96 to 2000 mk4 mk5 fiesta, and mk 6 MK6 escort ghia x imports, from our experience the fb is the later escort type, but if you have early model mk6 you will need the fa type"

Yeah he wanted to know the part no for the module i have, he thinks it may be faulty, but looking at that it'll be the wrong module then!!

The whole key sequence thing, are you holding down the > AND pressing >> three times consecutively or just pressing > THEN >> three times?
