Auto Electrician needed....

I need someone who can remove an aftermarket alarm as my battery died the other day and now i can't start the car because of the immobiliser and i don't have the key for the alarm - anyone help???

My mum had this problem with her old escort when the immobiliser started playing up, are you covered by the AA? because my mum called them out and they fixed it so she could start her car again :)

No unfortunately i have no breakdown cover, only got it as a runaround

the AA is £70 with the home start

If i called them out for this i can just imagine i'd be charged triple what an auto electrician would pay

I might be wrong but not had any experience with the AA just going by what i heard that they are expensive lol

your far better off just getting a mobile auto electrician out ,as all the aa will do is bypass the imoob wiring thats if they know how to ,If you were nearer I would do it for you ,if you are unsure of electrical wiring never attempt it yourself

The wiring looks like its not been done properly either which is why i won't touch it. Yeah think i'm gonna have to just thought i'd see if any of you guys on here knew anyone in particular.

its a case of following the wires on the immobilser back to where the fitter cut into them ,then rejoining the wires back up by soldering back to original ,so not really for the electrical novice for safety reasons

Yeah i know what you mean 1pukkadeal, i'd be comfortable soldering as i know what i'm doing there just don't wanna chance it when i'v not worked a lot with electrics

It's a Gemini alarm that is fitted

Not sure it's the best of places to come from (nowadays anyway) although my fella might kill me for saying that hehe
