not too sure what type of dump valve, how would i be able to tell the difference? i picked it up today and i absolutely love it!! not sure as plans yet, i do like the blue and black theme so maybe have the wheels done in black and get some smoked lights, already got the tints. perhaps some CF goodies (bumper vents and fog light surround etc). tuning wise im not sure, it has the exhaust already so may get a K&N. its a phase 1 model so i might look into what the deal is with the pink throttle update and the updated map on the phase 2. Basically does it make a Pssst noise lol? if so its an atmos, usually an atmos dump valve would be fitted on the top boost hose. The RS doesn't like them, alot of people suffer with it cutting out etc running an atmos and it'll overfuel, you'll find it'll run far better on a recirc i.e. Forge 007p. As for the K&N, get a GenII, they sound absouluely awesome with a recirc on the FRS, its like darth vadar is under the bonnet lol.... As for the phases, there isn't really such a thing. All it was, is through out the production Ford changed a few things. Mine is a 'Phase 2' if you like, as it has the stitched seats (This was because the seats tend to sag on the unstitched ones), Pink throttle gromet (This was to reduced vibration through the peddle i believe), Engine start stickers etc etc. Your right about the two maps, early one's came with AE and later ones came with AF, i think the new map was to help with cold start issue's but tbh most people prefer to have the AE map if modifying, as people have had issues with a 'cough' at about 4.5k revs when quite modded on AF. Oh one thing i would advise is, buy one of these asap http://www.ukobd.co.uk/Hand-held-Tools/ScanGauge2.html best purchase you'll make. It allows you to keep an eye on your intake temps (good, as the charge cooler pumps are common for failing) and your water temps and will therefore save you doing damage. It also allows you to read and clear codes, so is very handy. Hope that helps mate
