Have been following your project with the 5 door wide arch for quite some time now, a member of my forum is doing a wide arch eastate so sent him a link too. He then sold me his spare wings and sills, so I'm gonna do a wide arch Van! Guess I'll be looking through your project again and see what I can learn..... So making something for you would be like a payback....... Just let me know, and when the wide arch is painted I'll do one with that too! Greets. Peter.

Thnx, started using photoshop almost a year ago and sort of practiced by offering to do shops, avatars and siggs. Should any of you want one I guess that wouldn't be a problem. Looks good! How and where did you make your turnsignals? Peter.

I would bolt it instead of riveting. Then you'll be able to take it off in winter. If you hit a piece of ice with it, is ruined (had experience). So mine's bolted and coming off before snow in winter. Peter.

Seems to me I've got to find someone who travels to the UK frequently! Laguna splitters can be found on every scrapyard around here and you can pick em up for 4 quid or less. Could make a nice profit if I could only get them there....... Peter.

Decent comment gives you a boost to do even better! And I think it's a lot more fun if you don't have to spend so much... As for the bumper, I think the fogged one wins, and for the splitter, Laguna, makes it a little lower than the MG. Peter.

Sorry Guys. Have been quite busy the last few months, just not with the car. I'm taking over a Dutch Escort forum and it's getting a complete makeover. New site, new self made forumstyle, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube, the lot! So this has taken up all my time so far. BTW we do have an Still empty English section and translating pages isn't a problem either, so if you want to check it out. teamfordescort.eu/forum The site is not ready yet, hope next week. Hope to have some updates soon too. It's an Astra Dash, or rather an Opel as they are called here. Just customised, it's blue now instead of the standared yellow. Haven't been able to get it working yet though so the speaking boardcomputer from a Renault 25 is going in first. Will be the first talking Essi in Holland! Peter.

Sure you could in England, here in Holland Escort Vans are quite rare so kits are expensive. Made mine from rest ply I had laying around so cost me nothing but a little time. It's a sport for me to get the Van done as cheap as possible, Spent only 1300 quid up to now, including the Van which was 800. Peter.
