Looks nice, good to see that the front wheels sit in the centre of the arches, unlike most replicas. Only the wheels let it down in my opinion, but if you like them, thats all that matters. Got fond memories of those old pushrod engines, so slow but fun to rev the nads off at the same time! What are you thinking engine wise?

Hi everyone missed this forum, been a long time but not been in the best of health for the past nigh on a year but all okay now. No longer have any mark 6 Escorts, but still have the cabriolet! The new engine is in and running, will get some pictures up as soon as possible. Have lots of parts for it its just finding the time to finish it off.

Hey guys, I'm after Ford Service manuals and Technical data on the MK5/6 Escorts and the engines the Zetec, RS N7A, CVH PTE, Endura E whatever. But the proper Ford stuff. Would really love some stuff on the Escort Maxi too. Only because I'm a serious geek who studies these kind of things religiously and have a serious unhealthy love of these old Escorts. Cheers.

thats what we love about them lol so many improvents can be made so easily by taking parts from other models! like a grown ups meccano set! But I like the fact that theyre so basic to start with, gives you an almost blank canvas to work on!

Yes mate in my old one will try and find, I havent put the dials in the new one yet, being as pedantic as i am I want to do it when the mileages match exactly.

I bought the dash off of JC lol so it was already blue. Looks great at night with the blue plasma dials though.
