  1. I'll be there with Si in his recovery truck (Ford) so if anyone spins off then give me a shout!
  2. Looks nice, a massive step up from the Escort.
  3. Hi Stu, have you still not finished that bl00dy car!!?
  4. You have a rear tail light out...........
  5. Yes ST-2 with Xenons/ darker headlamps (black inners) which were facelifted very late 06 but mostly 2007 models. The exhaust on the bike are extras as well as the dark screen, tail tidy, R&Gs, bobbins etc. I have the original exhausts brand new never fitted. How does the focus compare to your old Clio? lol As said, its nice seeing a gixxer that isnt in blue and white lol How does it compare? Looks alone the Clio always wins it imo. As for performance the ST-2 when standard, matches or beats the Clio. Mine is now remapped and would pull away easily from the Clio V6. I've always liked the ST-2 since i test drove one when they came out. Loads of low down torque available from it's great 5 cylinder engine (Volvo T5), 225 BHP as standard and quite easy to tune up to 250-300 BHP.

  8. Cheers for the comments! I love the exhausts too on the bike, pictures don't show that they are on boths sides. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v355/EsccosAl/DSCF3289-1.jpg
  9. Hi to the peeps that know me, it's been a while since i posted here but thought i'd pop in to update a couple of changes. My car is now a 'Ford' again in the form of a Focus ST-2 which has benefited from a remap by Dreanscience. Car is a 56 plate (Dec 06). Fantastic torquey 5 cylinder 2.5L turbocharged engine derived from the Volvo T5. Also my new bike, 2008 (58) Suzuki GSX-R 1000 in white/silver. Just over 1,000 miles on the clock. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v355/EsccosAl/DSCF3237.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v355/EsccosAl/STMOR.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v355/EsccosAl/DSCF3236.jpg Bike. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v355/EsccosAl/DSCF3294.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v355/EsccosAl/DSCF3292.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v355/EsccosAl/DSCF3291.jpg

    My 'new' car.

These cars are known to be 'snappy', grip hard then break away suddenly. The Michelin Pilot Sports were developed for this car which as most know for their grip grip grip! There are a few mods that are popular to 'sort' the handling such as Coilovers, polybushing and correct camber settings along with Toyo T1Rs which are more progressive with grip rather than just gripping then snatching. Mine has had all these mods and does handle amazingly good, still got to get used to it but i can already 'feel' lightness, slight lack of front grip (understeer) when cornering hard.

Thanks for the replies, good and bad.I just love the crazy styling of the V6! If it's speed that's important i not worried how 'fast' the Clio is because i own a R1, not much faster in car land unless stupid money spent. I just love the look of these cars, they will be a future classic.

Lol SpongeBob, you are just too old and miserable. If i remember correctly there have been a few cars you've not liked..........but can't remember what as i've owned too many lol.

You're meant to see them, that's why they are yellow.I was going to do a black plastic mesh but i think it looks quite 'tough' and suits the styling of the car. Each to their own.

Cheers Matt, never driven the phase 2 i guess they must be better? Hate the standard wheels so it was a bonus getting these. It's just had all the suspension set up and brand new set of Toyo tyres, all poly bush gives a great 'feel'.The exhaust sounds awesome. These cars attract too much attention for me, the noise and looks just make peole stare! The plate is a bit cheeky too, i might just sell that.
