afternoon all. not been on here for a long long time. I have justed seen how dead it is. It used to be a really busy forum back in the day when I had my escort. I even looked out for the ford fair stand last year but didnt see it? unless I missed it. Some of you may remember my car. Running costs haven't been to bad as my Astra was a 2.0 turbo so I've not noticed the difference yet. Where's the best place to get the badge? Running costs aren't as bad as I thought they would be, services are only due every 12k and so on but ill be doing it every 5 Think they only bank breakers will really be the tax and tyres lol cant find the badge on ebay anymore Again same tax as the Astra so won't notice lol. Still bloody exspensive thou. How's your on idle is it really smooth or does it feel slightly lumpy? With it being a 5 pot.

That happened just after the conversion and it was the fuel pump. After that it ran sweet. I sold it to a lad and last I know it was scraped so don't know why he must of crashed it as the car was mint

Well after swaying away from Fords and getting my astra sri turbo.Looks like I'm now heading back to a ford. I've only had the astra 13 months but I've never really bonded with the car as I've always had fords. No matter how much I tried to not look for a new car I just always found my self looking for a ford again. I'll be putting the astra back to standard so all parts will be for sale. I've had it a week now and absolutely love it! the power and the handling is great and its such a well built car. I've always wanted one and held out til a Electric orange one came about and now I'm in a good position to afford one. The running cost and tax was'nt really a issue due to my astra being a 2.0 TURBO so tax and mpg are the same, the st guzzles a bit more but not much more. It was just a bit more than 2k breaking it. It's unreal the things I sold off it and the money I got for parts! Front brakes alone £250 interior £350. People with lesser spec focus's went mad for the stuff. I did buy another one but got rid after 5 months as I were bored with it after already owning one. I wanted something quicker with more tuning potential

Join Focusownersclub. As said thats a common fault for the st170 but for £800 pound it's a bargain. When I broke my written off st170 I got back over 2k by breaking it!
