I could only find an SA30 for £54 with postage included. I guess I'll have a better look lol. The top models of those Hawk alarms are Cat approved arent they? And isnt the installation one of the biggest factors in having a good alarm? Also, if you was to add a remote start to the car... how do you get around the pats system? I've heard you can tape the red chip to the ignition barrel, but does this work? Obviously you'd need a good imobiliser to replace it.... Cheers!

I'm looking at buying a cheap alarm. I have been looking at the recommended Scorpion SA30 which is now £55. Used to be £50 didn't it? I got WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES] encyrption set on mine, changing the passcode every week.... Also instead of checking mac addresses, set it up so only certain mac addresses can access the router. Thats what Ive done, it adds more secruity to it.
